First up was support act The Royston Club, without any mention of the town down the road. Who had plenty of the crowd singing along with their Kooks-esque songs.
Miles Kane kicked off with Troubled Son the opener of his latest LP One Man Band, with fantastic fast paced energy which would be the theme of the next hour, with only a brief slow downs for Heal and Colour of The Trap near the middle of the hour long set.
Getting the crowd to help with many of the La La La’s of Colour of The Trap or Woo Woo Woo’s of Never Taking Me Alive and reminding the Cambridge crowd it was a Monday Night!
Finishing up with the Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah’s and Whoa, Whoa, Whoa’s of the massive Come Closer from 2011, followed by Don’t Forget Who You Are with some more La La La’s, leaving the crowd waiting to sing some more before they realised an encore was not coming.
